DeeSol

I am passionate about being creative and  have always engaged my time with arts and crafts. I have tried crafts such as drawing, making pressed flower cards, silk painting designs and embroidery. I am a qualified school teacher, and the love of working with beads have come from introducing arts and crafts at school. Seeing how the children lit up by tapping into their creative skills, inspired the drive for me to be bold and to start selling my jewellery as a side hustle. I was amazed and grateful for the interest and comments from people who purchased my beaded pieces.

In December 2021 I started combining genuine leather into my creations. This has opened up a whole new world for me with endless possibilities and has brought me to the realisation that I want to  follow my passion. In June 2022,  I took the plunge, resigned from my Teaching job and launched DeeSol.

My love for teaching has not stopped, as I still enjoy transferring the knowledge I have to others in the form of skills development. DeeSol has trained a few young individuals, so that they can use their skills to generate their own income. The ability to develop the skills of young adults is a driving force for me and I know it is destined to be bigger. Seeing their faces when their pieces are worn by customers is a big reward in itself.

My dream, passion and creativity  is wrapped into every piece.  Each item is uniquely designed and handmade and the quality is checked by me. No design is the same, as there are always small differences in each piece, which creates the uniqueness of my designs.
